Edward was born & educated in Zimbabwe.
He completed his tertiary education at the Zimbabwe College of Art & Industrial Design where he graduated at the top of his class.
He has recently moved to South Africa & now lives in Hermanus.

Edward primarily paints in oils but also works in watercolours, ink & pastels.
For many years he lived in a wilderness area in Zimbabwe and today he draws his inspiration from Africa, its landscapes, people, flora & wildlife.

More recently he has broadened his horizons & is exploring new themes, subjects, techniques & ideas.

He has participated in exhibitions in Zimbabwe, South Africa, the Seychelles, in an exhibition by artists from Southern Africa that was held in Florida, USA & also in a two-man wildlife exhibition held in the Netherlands.
